Overstrand Executive Mayor, Dr Annelie Rabie, would like to laud local women during her annual Inspirational Women’s Breakfast on 19 August 2023.
Nominations have opened and it is time for individuals, non-profit organisations and businesses to consider who they will nominate as exceptional achievers in their communities in any of the following areas:
- Animal welfare
- Adults in need
- Children in need
- Community upliftment
- Tourism
- Arts and Culture
Closing date is on 31 July 2023 and nominations should be submitted to the relevant ward councillor. Each ward will have five inspirational women selected from all the nominations to attend the event on 19 August. The Mayoral Committee will make the final decision.
